LUXOFT company (IBS group of companies), providing software development services, opens Configuration Engineer position in department, which projects are being developed for the only customer.

Responsibilities:

-The Configuration Management Engineer is responsible for providing technical services in the technical integration, configuration control, configuration management, technical simulation interoperability, and appropriate simulation software, middleware, and data base modification and integration for interoperability of existing and emerging customer requirements.
- Provide support for configuration planning and management.
- Maintain a change request process, maintain CM documentation in an intranet repository and generate and distribute CM reports as requested.
- Maintain and control the functional and allocated baselines; hardware and/or software requirements documentation; apply CM control to all installation procedures.
- Store and retrieve configuration items from a configuration management system; store and recover archived versions of configuration items.
- Assist with new or changed requirements and failures and defects in the work products.
- Perform system management and configuration.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business/operational needs

Requirements:

-Experience in the configuration management of the Software Design and Development systems
-Ant in UNIX and Windows environment
-Source Version Control Systems and Tools (Subversion, SourceForge, Perforce, etc. )
-Tasks (issues) tracking system (Bugzilla, JIRA)
-UNIX and/or Windows user-level knowledge
-General knowledge of application analysis, design, and programming techniques using an object-orientated approach.
-Must show good examples of the professional applications configuration management.
-Good English reading/writing skills.
